The Jordan Shipping Association held a partnership meeting with Aqaba Container Terminal on Tuesday at the Association’s headquarters in Amman. The meeting was attended by several officials from both sides to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation in the maritime shipping – container sector.
The Association was represented by Dr. Duraid Mahasneh, the Association President; Mr. Zaid Kilaladah, Vice President; Captain Mohammad Al-Dalabeh, Secretary General; and Mr. Raed Hakouz, Assistant General Manager. Representing Aqaba Container Terminal were Mr. Adnan Al-Ya’qoubi, Chief Operations Officer; Mr. Angshuman Mustafi, Chief Commercial Officer; Mr. Majd Al-Asmar, Business Development Manager; and Mr. Alaa Bajantahla, Customer Service Manager.
During the meeting, Dr. Duraid Mahasneh emphasized the importance of holding regular meetings and enhancing mutual consultation regarding decisions issued by Aqaba Container Terminal that impact shipping agents. He stressed the need to establish an effective partnership that contributes to the sector’s interests and improves the services provided.
For their part, representatives of Aqaba Container Terminal reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation with the Association in the best interest of the maritime shipping – container sector. They highlighted the importance of exchanging views on developments and updates in the industry.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties agreed on the significance of exchanging practical expertise and training employees from both sides to enhance the efficiency of personnel in the maritime shipping – container sector, particularly in the fields of information technology and the modern systems implemented by Aqaba Container Terminal
