As part of the ongoing collaboration between the Jordan Shipping Association and the Jordan Customs Department, the association organized a specialized training session today at its headquarters in Amman. The training targeted employees of shipping companies to familiarize them with the new ASY HUB system.
The system is designed to address challenges faced by maritime sector professionals when using the ASYCUDA system. It also contributes to reducing cargo clearance times, thereby enhancing the efficiency and speed of customs and logistical operations.
This training is part of a project supported by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD). It reflects ongoing efforts to develop the maritime sector and strengthen cooperation among stakeholders to improve performance and streamline procedures.
Participants highlighted the importance of this initiative in enhancing the skills of sector employees and its role in achieving a significant advancement in shipping and customs operations.
