The Jordan Shipping Association conducted a visit to the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority, where it met with H.E. Eng. Shadi Ramzi Al-Majali, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners, in the presence of representatives from Aqaba Container Terminal and Aqaba Development Corporation.
The Association was represented in the meeting by:

- Mr. Bassam Al-Jazi, representing Al-Jazi Shipping Group
- Mr. Rafiq Al-Ati, representing Hapag-Lloyd Jordan

During the meeting, discussions focused on the tariff of Aqaba Container Terminal and its mechanism and date of implementation. The Authority promised to study the matter and provide a response to the Association in the near future.
The meeting was marked by a positive atmosphere, reflecting the commitment of all parties to fruitful cooperation in the service of the maritime and shipping sector.
