The Secretary-General of Jordan Shipping Association, Captain Mohammad Al-Dalabeh, participated in the Board of Directors and General Assembly meetings of the Arab Federation of Shipping Chambers, which commenced yesterday in Cairo, Egypt.
During the meetings, Captain Al-Dalabeh delivered a speech highlighting the activities and initiatives of the Association, as well as the development of the association’s electronic system. He also presented the latest statistics related to the maritime sector in Jordan. Additionally, he discussed the maritime situation in strategic regions such as Bab Al-Mandab and the Cape of Good Hope, shedding light on major developments and challenges affecting maritime transport in these vital areas.
It is worth mentioning that Captain Al-Dalabeh serves as the Second Vice President of the Arab Federation of Shipping Chambers. His participation underscores ongoing efforts to strengthen regional cooperation and develop the Arab maritime sector, with the involvement of the Federation’s President, Mr. Mohamed Moselhi, and several representatives of maritime chambers from various Arab countries. The meetings addressed several strategic issues, including the growth of the Arab maritime transport sector and the coordination of efforts to overcome challenges, aiming to achieve sustainable development in this critical field.
